Before I dive into the 3 money mindset mantras I tell myself, allow me to introduce myself for those of you who are new around here!

What Is Money Mindset?
You can do a Google search of this exact question and get several different answers. But it all comes down to your individual beliefs and attitudes about money. These very beliefs and attitudes drive your habits and behaviors when it comes to how you choose to spend, save, or invest money.
Addressing any beliefs and attitudes that may be holding you back is crucial to see growth in your business. If you hop on a discovery call and speak from a place of lack, neediness, fear, or scarcity, it will translate over the phone as poor confidence. So here are 3 statements you can repeat back to yourself before every discovery call to help boost your confidence!
My Top 3 Money Mindset Mantras
I refuse to NOT let the customer do business with ME, because I KNOW I can solve their pains, problems, and frustrations.
Before ever speaking with your potential client over a discovery call, you have to believe this mantra to be true. You are the nutrition expert, after all. They are interested enough to get on the phone with you. Now it’s your job to help them realize you have the solution(s) they’re in need of.
You’re NOT saving any money by not doing business with me. In fact, you’re LOSING time, energy, and money by not letting me help you.
Money is a tool to help you accomplish things. You chose to invest in your education in becoming a dietitian. Perhaps you also chose to further your education by investing into the Dietitian Nutrition Coaching Certification. Why? Because you saw the value in saving time, energy, and potentially money by learning from someone else’s hard-earned lessons and mistakes. Now translate this into something your potential clients can relate to. How are YOU saving them time, energy, and money in the long-run?
I can’t SERVE unless I SELL. Since I LOVE to serve, I also LOVE to sell.
Dealing with imposter syndrome can dampen your confidence to sell. However, once you accept that you need to sell in order to serve, it becomes MUCH easier to speak confidently about your services to anyone.
As an RD entrepreneur, your money mindset is so important. Assess yourself before every discovery call and try repeating back the 3 mantras shown above! Remember, you HAVE to believe that you are worth the investment. (Because you are! Dietitian Nutrition Coaches are ABSOLUTELY worth the investment… but I suppose I am biased!) Otherwise, your potential client will notice the lack of confidence and doubt their decision.
